TPX is the lightest of all known polymers. It is transparent to UV, visible and THZ bands. Of course, you can use a He-Ne laser to do the collimation. The refractive index of the polymer is about 1.46, which does not depend on the wavelength. TPX materials are often used to make optical components in the terahertz band. TPX lenses and TPX window plates are the most common ones.

In addition, the transmission loss of mm wave by TPX lens and TPX window plate is very low. It has excellent thermal resistance and can resist the corrosion of some commercial chemicals.
